Toon Koster Original Oil Painting

An original oil painting on board by listed artist Antonius Henricus ‘Toon’ Koster (Dutch, 1913-1989). The painting depicts a winter landscape, depicting a creek cutting through an open, snowy meadow, with sinister looking bare trees on its banks against a dark, brooding sky. The roofs of a small village can be seen in the distance. The painting is signed ‘Toon Koster’ to the lower right, and the painting is presented with a wide linen mat or fillet in a narrow gilded wood frame. Ready to hang.
