A set of vintage Adams Calyx Ware ‘Singapore Bird’. The white English ironstone set of ninety-four pieces features an Asian inspired floral and bird design in shades of pink, green, brick, blue and yellow. The set includes fourteen dinner plates, eleven salad plates, fourteen dessert plates, seventeen saucers, sixteen bowls, thirteen tea cups, one large platter, two serving bowls, three medium size serving platters, gravy bowl with saucer, creamer, sugar bowl. The tea cups are marked to the bottom, ‘Real English Ironstone Adams Made in England Established in 1657’. Other pieces marked, ‘Calyx Ware Real English Ironstone Adams Made in England Established 1657 Singapore Bird’ and ‘Calyx Ware Real English Ironstone Established 1657 England, Adams, Member of the Wedgwood Group Singapore Bird’.
