A Thomas A. Edison disc phonograph with wood cabinet and a record storage chamber, with a locking door in the bottom portion and a speaker in the top of the cabinet. A hinged lid on top opens to a turntable. The machine is marked ‘Pat November 17, 1903, Thomas A Edison Inc., C19 – SM 134519, from Foster & Waldo Minneapolis’. Twenty-seven original 10’ Edison records, and a record cleaner marked ‘music is essential, Foster & Waldo’, are included.

  • Please note, this is an item that may be especially difficult to move and/or transport. Unless shipping arrangements are available and made by the winning bidder, that individual is advised to bring, appropriate assistance, vehicle, proper materials, and any necessary tools to pickup.
  • Please be advised, furniture items must be picked up and removed by winning bidder during the scheduled pickup time on pickup day. A moving charge will be incurred by winning bidders for any items not picked up. If winning bidder chooses to not have the item moved for alternate pickup, the winning bidder will incur a disposal fee to have the item removed.
