A collection of The Complete Works of George Eliot in eighteen issues. This collection is limited to a five hundred numbered and registered set, of which these are numbered ‘409’. A few of the works included are Middlemarch, Daniel Deronda, and Adam Bede. This set features a gilt top edge with decked edges to the side and bottom and is cloth bound. It was published by Merrill and Baker, London and New York. No date of publication mentioned, but appears to be late 1800’s or early 1900’s.

Condition

- consistent with use and age with wear to covers with spine damage and writing in some and dusty from storage.
