Item Details
A pair of offset lithographs after portrait paintings by Annie Lyle Viser. These two prints on paper include Evelina and Nellie May and Simmons, both of which depict an older woman and man consoling a child. An in plate signature is seen to the lower right corner of Evelina, while Simmons features a graphite signature. Both prints are presented under glass beneath a dual-layered mat in a stained wooden frame with hanging wire and a complementary story contextualizing each subject to the verso.
Condition
- frames are scratched throughout; mats are acid burned; minor punctures in dust cover.
