Item Details
An 18th century French traveling writing necessaire in book form with a green shagreen ‘binding’ over sterling silver with a gold gilt wash. The hinged book cover opens to reveal a fitted interior with a tiny glass ink well, a matching sand shaker, a seal etched with a bird on a branch, a stylus and three various nibs.
Condition
The traveling set is in very good to good condition with one nib missing.
