An original laser-cut brass, wire, enamel and plaster sculpture by American sculptor Thomas Yano (20th century). The sculpture depicts a whimsical enameled blue, white and green blossom rising upwards from a leafy stalk growing from a rocky base. A butterfly hovers nearby, suspended by a thin, curved wire connected to the base, adding a kinetic element to the piece. Artist signature is incised to one of the bottom rendered leaves.

Condition

- light oxidation throughout sculpture.
