An oil painting on canvas titled Der Mann mit dem Goldhelm (The man with the golden helmet) by Edward J. Hummer (20th-century) after the original version by the Dutch Golden Age painter Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn (1606-1669). This version was painted after the original, executed in 1964. Depicted is a stoic gentlemen in a golden helmet with a furrowed brow and tight smirk. Signed and dated to the lower left in paint. Inscribed to the verso. Presented without glass, housed in a gilt and gesso Louis XIV style wood frame.

- minor craquelure present throughout; minor marks and scratches to the frame.
