Item Details
An oil painting on wood panel of an oceanscape by Bert Beirne. Signed by hand to the lower right corner, the painting depicts sailboats traveling across the waves of the ocean while their white sails point towards the cloud filled sky. The painting is mounted in a painted wood frame with a beige liner and beige fillet. A wire is present to the verso for hanging purposes. Beirne studied at the University of Cincinnati and is best known for her realist paintings.
