Copper Clad Wood Carving of Christ and John the Baptist

A vintage wood carving clad with hammered and nailed copper of Christ with St. John the Baptist. Christ appears with his right hand outstretched in the form of a blessing. His left hand wields a staff with a hanging flag based on the tradition started by Constantine. To his right, St. John the Baptist appears with tucked wing and his right hand across his chest. The piece is unsigned.

- top of the staff has been repaired; scratches and marks present throughout.
