Singer 127 Treadle Sewing Machine with Quarter Sawn Oak Table

A Singer Class 127 treadle sewing machine set in a five-drawer wooden sewing table. The top of this table flips open to reveal a 127 Singer sewing machine, production of which started in March 1919; the machine has ornate decor from every angle, including two sphinx images, one on the bed and one on the pillar near the bobbin. The words ‘Singer Manufacturing Co.’ are etched on the top arm and the serial number, G6871073, is engraved on a plate on the base. The table features quarter sawn oak veneer on a wooden base, and has five drawers with white button pulls atop a black cast iron frame.
