Philip Cheney Signed Stone Lithograph "Bringing in the Sap"

An original stone lithograph by well-listed American Scene artist Philip Cheney (Vermont/Virginia/Massachusetts; 1897 – 1992), titled Bringing in the Sap. The image depicts a man leading his horse toward a small log cabin situated within a forest of maple trees in the midst of winter. Sap buckets hang from each tree, collecting the sugary sweet maple delicacy. Artist signature is signed in pencil to the lower right. This print is mounted under cream mat, behind glass in a black wood frame, equipped to hang. A label to the verso contains additional information about the artist.

- light discoloration across print and mat.
