An antique Dresden porcelain ballerina. The piece depicts an auburn-haired seated ballerina attired in a gathered and tiered ivory and pink lace dress with pink ruffled lace blue bodice, with applied colorful flowers and leaves to the gathered skirt. The lady is shown poised with her arms outstretched, mounted atop an oval base with gilded scrollwork decoration. The piece is marked to the verso with the blue WR mark with scrolled crown form, Dresden Art, Made in Germany and impressed production marks, along with gilded 9.
