Item Details

A selection including one oil painting on canvas and one watercolor on paper by Huber. The first work depicts a man walking with a cane and a dog, with a hunting riffle through a village on a cobblestone street. The piece is signed in paint to the lower right and presented in a wood frame with a linen and gold tone liner and a wire to the verso ready to hang. The second work depicts a woman pushing a cart down a rural village road. This piece is signed in paint to the lower right corner. It is presented in a cardboard tube that has a note ‘Painting of Germany (Grotzingen)’ handwritten along the outside.

Condition

- small dent to the lower right of canvas; minor wear to frame finish; the watercolor is unframed and naturally tends toward a rolled state.
