Item Details

A vintage Alvarez model 5052 jumbo style acoustic guitar with shell inlay accents, including a vine motif with opalescent flowers against the black pickguard. The headstock is marked ‘Alvarez’ in script, and a label inside the soundhole has an image of a lutenist and the text ‘Alvarez Made in Japan’. This label also gives its model number 5052 and has an unfilled or faded blank for its serial number.

Condition

- wear and scratches to finish, and signs of cracking along edges; untested.
