An oil painting on canvas of a Native American campsite by Remer. Signed by hand to the lower left corner, the painting depicts a figure standing next to a tepee illuminated by a fire and the glowing light from the moon. The painting is mounted in a gold tone gesso and wood frame with an elaborate floral design. A wire for hanging purposes is present to the verso of the frame.
Condition
- craquelure throughout painting; cracks and chips throughout gesso decoration on frame.
