Antique United States Cavalry Saber

Item Details

An antique United States cavalry saber. This sword features a cast metal and carved wooden grip with a curvilinear metal hand guard. The etched steel blade is emblazoned with patriotic motifs and ‘U.S.’ on one side with ‘E Pluribus Unum’ on the other and marked ‘Cincinnati Regalia Co., Cincinnati, O.’ near the hilt. A silver tone metal scabbard is included.

- consistent with age; tarnish visible throughout; small cracks in wooden grip
