Antique Welsh Oak Longcase Clock by Moses Evans of Llangerniew
Item Details
A circa 1820 Welsh longcase clock by Moses Evans of Llangerniew in Northern Wales. The oak case features a swan pediment on the hood with brass roundrels and reeded columns. The painted face features roman numerals with hour and minute hands, and a separate second hand display with painted floral and songbirds. The oak base includes weights and pendulum. It is marked ‘Moses Evans Llangerniew’. A clock winding key is included.
