A WWII-era Japanese Imperial police officer saber. This sword features a 27’ unsharpened, machine-made steel blade, a carved wooden handle with a cast brass hand guard and back strap, both with a five-petal cherry blossom mon (crest). It is housed in a metal scabbard.
