Item Details

A vintage Japanese Showa Era (1926-1989) kimono in figured Rinzu silk having a large scale pale gray and red foliate design with florals in green and pale yellow. The kimono is traditionally designed with long, wide sleeves, open at the front, it was purchased by a collector who lived in Japan for an extended period.

Condition

The kimono shows little to no wear, it has been stored folded in a rice paper sleeve.

Dimensions

The kimono measures 24" from shoulder seam to seam. The sleeve length is 27 and the total length is 58".
