A 1981 offset lithograph poster after a pair of an original painting by well-listed German-American painter Peter Max (1937–), designed as a promotional item for the 1981 Kentucky Derby Festival. A small reproduction of a painting of a flying horse is printed to the lower edge, and a large closely-cropped image of a portion of that piece is printed across the top. The poster is signed in-plate to the lower margin. It is presented behind glass in a rounded hot pink metal frame with a hanging wire.
