Mid-Century RCA Victor 45 rpm Turntables
Item Details
A group of three circa 1940s/50s mid-century RCA Victor 45 rpm turntables, two being the same model. RCA was the first to make a portable electric turntable beginning in 1948 and continued with this model through the early 1950s. Casings are all dark brown/black rigid plastic with applied ‘RCA Victor’ script name tag to the front bottom right corner. Turning wheel and needle arm are black plastic on the two identical models and a soft gold metallic finish with red inset on the third model. For all three the top of the record spindles are clad in bright red plastic.
Condition
- appearance is consistent with use and age; one player has some body damage as shown. All units require service and/or restoration.

- shipping measurements. The two identical players measure 11″ × 8.5″ × 8.5″, other player is 9.75″ × 7.5″ × 10″
