An offset lithograph after listed artist Paul Sawyier (1865-1917), titled Rainy Day in Frankfort. Paul Sawyier, who is Kentucky’s foremost American Impressionist painter, created over 3,000 works of art. This print depicts depicts a rainy street scene in Frankfort, Kentucky with horse-drawn carriages. The print is double matted and presented in a gold gilt wood frame beneath glass with hanging wire to the verso. The backing is covered in brown paper and a certificate of authentication from Paul Sawyier Galleries, dated 1968, marking it as one of 1000 prints.
