A Wedgwood Napoleon Ivy china service. The tableware features a vining ivy pattern in green and brown on a white ground, styled after china used by Napoleon during his exile on St. Helena in 1815. The set includes nine dinner plates, nine salad plates, eight cups, three saucers, a creamer and sugar, a small posy pot, a toothpick holder and a large serving platter. Marked by Wedgwood to the base.
Condition
to Fair – the sugar bowl is missing the lid; with pattern and utensil wear; one rim chip to underside of dinner plate and one cup with roughness to the rim.
Dimensions
- measures the group. The dinner plates are 10.25"w, the platter is 17"w x 14", the salad plates are 8.25"w.
