A model of the USS Constitution. The original US Navy ship was built in 1797 and was named by George Washington after the United States Constitution. The ship was made out of wood and featured three masts and was a 44-gun frigate. This model of the ship as it was in 1797 with its sails up. The ship features a complicated rigging system and replica life boats. The ship sits on a wooden base with a plaque that reads ‘USS Constitution 1797’.

Condition

- Some minor separation of boards and discoloration of metal. May require cleaning.
