Mary Lou Higgins Ceramic Wall Hanging

A ceramic slab built wall hanging by ceramicist Mary Lou Higgins (1926–2012). This clear-glazed ivory toned piece has a flat panel on which the artist has drawn a pair of women, their hands on each other as they look over their shoulders at the viewer. The top and bottom of the piece have been curled in pieces inwards towards the image. The work is signed ‘Mary Lou Higgins 1977’ to its underside, and has a yarn hanger.

Condition

- no chips or cracks, some minor pitting to clear glaze.
