An oil painting on canvas by Marie Wilner (b.1910). This abstract work presents an expressive composition with heavy impasto texture and dark tones. The work is signed in paint to the lower right, appearing to read ‘M. Wilner 68’ or ‘63’. This piece is presented in a wood frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- paint chipped off to top right side, center, and top left of canvas; frame has wear throughout; backing is punctured throughout; water or oil spot along left side.
