An offset lithograph titled, The Great Balloon Racers after a work by Charles Willett Vittitow (Kentucky, 1935 – 1995). The piece depicts the city, viewed from across the river with the Belle Of Louisville steamboat in the foreground below the sky filled with colorful hot air balloons. Piece is hand-signed ‘C.W. Vittitow’ in pen and printed in plate to the lower left. It is matted in burlap and thin orange under glass, housed in a wooden frame.
