An original impressionist-style student oil painting on academy board. The painting is titled to the back Cora Bliss Taylor’s Studio, depicting a charming cottage, and is signed to the lower right with a small image of a painter’s palette and ‘MEM’. The artist was likely a student of well-listed artist Cora Bliss Taylor (American, 1889-1986). The painting is presented in an ornate gilded wood frame with a hanging wire affixed to the verso.
