An oil painting on canvas of a still life by artist Anthony Franzia. This painting depicts a central arrangement of apples, cherries, oranges, a lidded pitcher and fluted glass resting on a flattened surface draped in crimson and yellow cloth. The grouping sits before a darkened green background. To the lower left corner of the composition is an artist signature. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame featuring moulded palmette motifs and a linen liner, as well as hanging wire affixed to the verso.
