Johnson Brothers "Wild Turkey" Windsor Ware Plates
Item Details
A set of Windsor Ware plates by Johnson Brothers. This collection includes twelve matching earthenware dinner plates in the Wild Turkey brown pattern with depictions of turkeys to the center and flowers and fruit around the slightly scalloped edges. The pattern was made from a hand graving under the glaze. The underside of each is stamped ‘Wild Turkeys, A Genuine Hand Engraving, Windsor Ware, Johnson Bros. England, All Decoration Under the Glaze Permanent & Acid Resisting Colors’ with the pattern number of 167472.
Condition
- all plates have some minor scratches; back of plates have several small stains.

- measurements reflect one plate; all uniform in size.
