A vintage New England Clock wall clock. The wood clock is made of dark stained wood, featuring a case shaped like a house with a peaked roof, with a small ‘window’ above the dial. The dial is printed on heavy paper and is marked It has pierced black metal hands and is marked ‘Hark What’s The Cry Prepare To Meet Thy God, Today’ below the twelve o’clock mark, and ‘New England Clock Briston, Conn.’ above the six o’clock mark. It comes with a round brass pendulum and a small cast metal threaded weather vane that is supposed to be attached on the roof. The clock mechanism, marked ‘Made in Germany’, is accessed through a wood panel on the back. Chains and gold tone cast metal weights are included.
