A series of five miniature Japanese woodblock prints on paper. These ukiyo-e style prints depict women in traditional Japanese attire. Four of the figures are pictured in outdoor environments and hold oil-paper umbrellas to shield themselves from snow, rain, and sunlight. The fifth figure is printed on a white background. There is calligraphy on every individual image except the top right print. This piece is presented matted with protective glass in a wood frame with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- adhesive to the verso is aging.
