An oil painting on canvas by artist Joan A. Davis, titled Evening Light. This Impressionist painting depicts a calm lake that is surrounded by a grassy field and clusters of trees, which are rendered in vibrant, pastel tones. To the lower right corner of the composition is an artist signature and date, listed 1997. The painting is presented in a brushed gold and cream tone wooden frame featuring moulded foliate patterning to the surface and a linen liner. To the verso is affixed hanging wire, as well as a business card and artist statement.
