An Ansonia figural mantle clock. The clock comprised of gold tone painted metal depicting a seated scholar to the left, with ornate Rococo style scrolled detailing. The white enameled metal clock face is marked ‘Manfd. by Ansonia Clock Co. New York, U.S.A. Trade Mark A’. The clock includes a Waterbury Clock Company key, but is not in operational order.
