Antique William and Mary Oak Chest on Stand

An antique William and Mary oak chest on stand with later decoration. This rectangular top stand with beveled edge features four large drawers with recessed geometric panels, brass tone escutcheons, and decorative drop handles. The facade includes rope trim throughout. The second unit features a rectangular top with beveled edge over a drawer with recessed X shaped panels rising on turned legs joined by a curved box stretcher terminating on bun feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.
