An original oil painting on canvas depicting a riverside church scene by listed Texas artist, Al Brouillette (born 1924). Painted in thin washes of earth-toned oils, the scene draws the viewers eye to the blue of the river water flowing before the seemingly adobe structure. It is signed to the lower right corner in sage paint, and is presented in a decorative wood frame with a velveteen matting. A hanging wire is attached to the verso.

Condition

Some accretion and discoloration to velveteen mat, minor chipping to applique of frame.
