Antique "Tivoli" Mantel Clock by Ansonia
Item Details
An antique Tivoli mantel clock by Ansonia. The walnut case is carved with stylized foliates. It has a white, Roman numeral dial behind a glass door and it comes with a winding key. The works are marked ‘Ansonia’ and the door retains a paper label marked ‘Eight-Day / Tivoli / Strike’ and ‘Prize Medal Awarded, Paris Exposition, 1878.’

- to fair; marks and scratches throughout to the wood; some of the metal’s coating is wearing off and tarnishing; chimes but when wound it does not appear to work.
