Early 20th Century Oak Sideboard With Mirror

Item Details

An early 20th century oak sideboard. This piece features a mirrored backboard accented by a carved palmette ornament to the top. It has a rectangular top with rounded corners and contains a long drawer over a pair of stacked short drawers flanked by cupboards. The drawers are hand-dovetailed; the long drawer has clear knob pulls and the short drawers are equipped with brass tone urn mounts with foliate ring pulls. The cupboards are enclosed behind blind-paneled doors with quatrefoil accent panels and brass tone rosette pulls. The piece has a serpentine apron and is supported by cabriole legs on wooden casters.
