A Korean hardwood armchair by Korea Furniture Mfg. Co., Ltd. The frame features a stepped crest rail with pierced corner brackets above a vertical, pierced and carved splat. The open arms continue to scrolled handholds over a removable, strapped seat. The chair rises on slightly tapered legs ending in hoof feet. The underside retains two manufacturer’s tags, one of which reads ‘Korea Furniture Mfg Co / Seoul Korea’.
