A pair of 14K yellow gold cufflinks containing two Austrian Ducat gold bullion coins in a raised polished bezel setting. The coins are 1883 and 1889 coins with mintages of 409,000 and 335,000 respectively. The design features a rounded-edge square surround with stone finish and bullet back closures. The coins depict the laureate head of Emperor Franz Joseph I reading ‘FRANC IOS I D G AUSTRIAE IMPERATOR’ to the obverse side, with the arms of Austria superimposed upon a crowned double-headed eagle, reading ‘HUNGAR BOHEM GAL LOD ILL REX A A’ to the reverse. Metal Content: 98.6% gold (21K). Diameter 20.00 mm (each). Weight: 3.44 grams (each). Coin condition very good.
