Item Details

An offset lithograph on paper after a painting by listed British artist Walter Hunt (1861 – 1941). The piece, titled Found, depicts a poignant scene with a collie coming to the rescue of a lost sheep in the snow. The print is unsigned but includes printed text of ‘GP 1249, Litho in USA’ to the lower left. It is presented under glass in a gold tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- toning to paper; pitting to glass; general wear to frame with cracks to molding and sections missing at upper right; chipping to corners and along back edges; loose joints to frame.
