A watercolor and ink painting on paper by John Hale. This depicts the narrow ’Berger’s Grocery’ store, with a Pepsi machine in the front beside the concrete steps. It stands, rising on concrete blocks, in a winter landscape, before a row of leafless trees. It is signed in pencil in the bottom right. The work is presented double matted, under glass, in a wooden frame that is wired for hanging.
