Item Details
An original signed limited edition aquatint etching by well-listed French-American painter and printmaker Etienne Ret (France/California; 1900 – 1996). The image depicts a charismatic lute player, rendered in simplified, gestural marks. Artist signature is signed in plate to the upper right, and hand-signed in pencil to the lower right margin. The print is numbered 4/150 in pencil to the lower left margin; mounted behind off-white mat, behind glass in a simple beveled wood frame with a natural stained finish, equipped to hang.
Condition
- discoloration across print and mat. Light wear to finish of frame.
