A Singer sewing machine and table, produced in 1928. This cast metal sewing machine has a leather strap in the back which runs through the table to a wheel connected to the foot pedal. It is marked with the serial number ‘AC735041’, indicating it was produced in March in 1928. The table has two small drawers flanking the cast iron legs and foot pedal marked ‘Singer’.
