A ninety-two piece set of Pickard Palace Royale dinnerware pieces. The pieces are adorned with gold encrusted bands and gilt rims with hand decorated cobalt on ivory. The pieces appear with an unidentified seal that reads in Latin, ‘Disciplina et Rides,’ and bears the name ‘Burke’ below the seal. The set includes two large serving platters, two smaller platters, two gravy bowls, pair of candlestick holders, two circular vegetable bowls, two ovular vegetable bowls, a large serving dish with scallop rim, fourteen dinner plates, twenty-nine dessert or salad plates, twelve bread and butter plates, twelve tea cups and twelve saucers.
