A vintage 1976 Colorado bi-centennial commemorative medal. The obverse depicts a man on horseback with moiubntains ibn the distance, and the reverse has a large circle with ‘1876 – 1976 Centenial’ with a large number 76 that has ‘Colorado USA’ inside the numbers. The medal is silver toned, and comes in a package marked ‘Colorado Centennial Medal authorized by congress & Colorado Centennial-Bicentennial commission for the state’s 100th & the nation’s 200th year. First commemorative medal struck at the Denver mint’. No metal content is given.
