A porcelain figurine of Napoleonic Marshal Kellermann. This hand-painted polychrome figurine depicts the French military commander Marshal François Christophe Kellermann, the First Duke of Valmy (b. Strasbourg 1735–d. 1820). Kellermann is credited with the defeat of the Prussian army at Valmy in 1792, halting an invasion that threatened the French regime.
