1940 Navaho Hand Woven Rug with Diamond Design on Ivory Field

A circa 1940 Navajo hand woven rug having a central diamond patter on an ivory field. The diamond within a diamond pattern is done in alternating bands of brown, red and gray with saw-tooth edges and red corner patches. The rug has tassels at each corner.

Condition

Very good in appearance, good condition with one small hole at top edge, one small spot in ivory field and several loose woven spots at opposite edge.
