Chancay Peruvian Burial Dolls
Item Details
A selection of Chancay Peruvian burial dolls. The dolls are handcrafted with natural straw and twig construction. The pieces have hand stitched fabrics and faces. The dolls are attached to canvas backing with a plastic case screwed onto the backing. A metal wire is included to the verso for hanging. The Chancay culture existed in Peru between 1200 and 1450 CE.
